Aquatic Biologists, Inc. is
pleased to announce that our biologists are also Certified
Commercial Public Health Pest Control Applicators (Mosquito
Control). This enables us to enhance the scope of services of your
current aquatic management program.
As an optional service our clients can participate in our Mosquito
Larvicide Program. Mosquitoes are capable of breeding anywhere there
is standing water including: Lake Shorelines, Wetlands, Ponds,
Canals, and Ditches. Wherever they occur, they are at best a serious
annoyance and at worst the transmitters of serious diseases (ex: St.
Louis Encephalitis). Even though many mosquito control efforts
offered by our local governmental agencies have been very effective
in the overall control of mosquito populations in Florida; they will
often concentrate their efforts in public areas and may not include
larvicide applications to "private" waterways.
